Ellen Curtis, author of Compendium, Infinity, and The Tourniquet Reprisal, is currently reading JRR Tolkien’s The Fellowship of the Ring. “I’ve read it before and are currently re-reading it for a class. I love Tolkien’s work, it’s imagination and evocativeness,” said Curtis.

Steve Lake is currently reading the collection of short stories light|dark and JK Rowling’s The Casual Vacancy. He and his works have a current rating of 4.79.

Jay Paulin work on light|dark from Engen as well as the charity work he does with his creator-owned company Ink’d Well Comics is highlighted, and his work currently holds an impressive average rating of 4.82.

Matthew LeDrew, author of the Black Womb and Infinity series’, is currently reading four books, Dexter in the Dark by Jeff Lindsay, Marvel Fanfare, The Essential X-Men volume 4, and JRR Tolkien’s The Return of the King. He’s also involved in a self-imposed “GoodReads Challange” to read 200 books in 2014. “I’m reading Return of the King for class,” said LeDrew, “Though I guess ‘read’ may be fudging a bit. I’ve transitioned to audiobooks when available so that I can enjoy my books while driving, working, or working out. I’m reading Dexter for pleasure, and I’ve insanely decided to read every X-Men comic ever printed for some reason.”

Engen short-story authors who are also members of the Goodreads Author program include Sci-Fi from the Rock‘s Justin Foley, and Bluenose Paradox‘s Ali HouseRandi Livingstone, and Megan Milner.
